Taking the advice of a friend, I'm going to take a chance on blogging.

Today is many things.
1) My first blog
2)Saint Patrick's day
3)My father-in-law's 60th birthday
I think it's a sign of good things to come.
So lets start.. My name is Monica Scheidecker, I'm 29 years old and live in Boston, MA with my husband Bryan, who turned 30 Christmas day 2010. We moved to Boston from Southern CA for Bryan's job.
He accepted the position of 'assistent director of education' at Vic Firth. He loves his job, stressful, but he loves it. I was able to get a job pretty quick after moving at Norwood hospital. I wasnt there long tho, was laid off 4 months after due to a buy out.
Now I'm in the process of finding a new job. SO MUCH FUN! It adds more stress on Bryan and I but we have each other, and I know we will be just fine. We always are. Living in Boston is such a big adjustment, and I'm not talking about just the weather (which IS a big adjustment) I mean the people. Its really a different pace of life. Everyone is in such a hurry! The traffic is just horrible, the roads are a wreck, and the people are RUDE! I know people always thought that the traffic in California was bad...they have not driven in BOSTON!!
Don't get me wrong, it is beautiful here, and it is nice to have more then two seasons for a change, but I miss California. I miss my friends and family. And I know Bryan does to. We are looking forward to our trip home!
